Is Cobb Mediation, LLC Affiliated with Credit Card Companies with Mandatory Arbitration Clauses?
No. Cobb Mediation, LLC is an independent administrator of alternative dispute resolution services. Cobb Mediation, LLC and its arbitrators have no special affiliation or relationship to any particular industry or special interest. Cases are heard and decided by unbiased legal experts.
It is standard practice for arbitrators to complete a Disclosure of Interests Checklist for the parties to identify all or his or her financial, professional or personal relationships to the arbitration participants. Under our Rules for Arbitrator, “No person shall serve as an arbitrator in any arbitration in which that person has any financial or personal interest.” If that is ever the case, the arbitrator would be replaced by a new arbitrator selected by the arbitration participants.
Our dispute resolution processes are designed to provide all parties with a fair and impartial process for resolving disputes.
