Cobb Mediation, LLC's General Manager Barry Edwards' Article on Comprehensive Arbitration of Domestic Relations Cases in Georgia appears in the latest issue of the Georgia Bar Journal.
We have just announced our Training Calendar for Summer/Fall 2008. We are offering core courses in general civil mediation as well as workshops on specialized subjects like co-parenting, special education, elder care. To participate, register as soon as possible. Group discounts available.
We are proud to introduce Nancy Grossman and Daryl Kidd as the newest members of our Panel of Neutrals. Ms. Grossman is an attorney who worked in Fulton County Superior Court. She specializes in mediating and arbitrating family law matters. Mr. Kidd, Founder of the Cobb County Bar Association's Family Law Section, brings 26 years of legal experience to his mediation and arbitration practice.
Jennifer Matte's Report on Opportunities in the ADR Field in Georgia is a great resource for dispute resolution professionals. Ms. Matte is a Vermont Law School graduate who worked at Cobb Mediation, LLC as part of her externship with Georgia State's Consortium for Negotiation and Conflict Resolution.

Amenities of Cobb Mediation's Downtown Marietta Facility
Cobb Mediation is located near the Marietta Square in Downtown Marietta. If you haven't had the opportunity to see our facility, we invite you to take a virtual tour of our offices.
Cobb Mediation will make light snacks and beverages available throughout your mediation session. We will also pick-up lunch for full-day mediation participants from one of Marietta's fine local restaurants. You can find more information about our Snack & Beverage Service on our web site. Catering service for large, multi-party mediations will be provided by Carriage House Catering.
Some audio-video equipment is available for attorneys' use at Cobb Mediation. Attorneys who wish to use audio-video equipment are encourage to call Cobb Mediation ahead of time to make sure we have compatible equipment to meet your needs.
We appreciate that mediation participants spend a fair amount of time waiting. Wireless internet access is available throughout the facility.
Mediation participants are welcome to use our fax machine, printer, and copier during their mediation sessions.
Parties with out-of-town guests will enjoy working with Cobb Mediation. There are pleasant overnight accomodations next door at The Whitlock Inn and great places to shop and eat within walking distance of Cobb Mediation.
Should the need arise, you may conduct your mediation with one of our mediators at another location agreeable to all parties. In these cases, mediator travel fees may apply.
