Who Proposes Mediation?
If you have a dispute with another person or business, which you want resolved, you can propose mediation as a means to resolve the dispute. You can propose mediation at any stage of a dispute, whether you are a plaintiff, defendant or another party.
If you are uncomfortable with proposing mediation to the other party or parties, you can submit a Scheduling Request for The Center for Legal Solutions to invite the other party or parties to participate in mediation. Upon receipt of such a Request, The Center for Legal Solutions will contact the other party or parties involved in the dispute to attempt to coordinate a mutually convenient date with an acceptable mediator. In such cases, The Center for Legal Solutions will not discuss the merits of your case to advocate that any party agree to mediation.
If you have questions about The Center for Legal Solutions that are not answered on this web site, feel free to e-mail your question to questions@centerforlegalsolutions.org and we will do our best to respond within 48 hours.
