We are proud to introduce Nancy Grossman and Daryl Kidd as the newest members of our Panel of Neutrals. Ms. Grossman is an attorney who worked in Fulton County Superior Court. She specializes in mediating and arbitrating family law matters. Mr. Kidd, Founder of the Cobb County Bar Association's Family Law Section, brings 26 years of legal experience to his mediation and arbitration practice.
Jennifer Matte's Report on Opportunities in the ADR Field in Georgia is a great resource for dispute resolution professionals. Ms. Matte is a third year law student at Vermont Law School who worked at Cobb Mediation, LLC as part of her externship with Georgia State's Consortium for Negotiation and Conflict Resolution.

Michael Ahlstrom has represented individuals and businesses in private legal practice since 1979. His experience includes working as an attorney for law firms, corporate counsel and general counsel for corporations, and as an attorney for law firms, and as a managing attorney for a private legal service provider. He has also represented clients in many areas of family law, including divorce, modification of child custody and child support. He has served as a special master, guardian ad litem, mediator and arbitrator.
Mr. Alhstrom received his undergraduate degree in business management from Saint Francis College and his law degree from the University of San Francisco. He has based his practice legal practice in Marietta, Georgia since 1987.
For the last ten years, Mr. Ahlstrom has arbitrated securities industry disputes for the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ (now consolidated as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
Having a degree in business management and substantial experience representing corporate clients well equips Mr. Ahlstrom to mediate financial issues associated with domestic relations cases.
Mediation Style:
Mr. Ahlstrom is a patient and even-handed mediator. He understands that legal disputes often take an emotional toll on the parties involved and that parties sometimes want to express their personal problems during mediation. While tailoring his approach to the particular dynamics of each case, Mr. Ahlstrom enjoys the legal background and mediation experience to keep parties moving toward settlement.
